The Plainfield Recycling Shed does not accept the following items at this time:Propane TanksAuto Batteries, Household non-rechargeable alkaline batteries Construction DebrisTires - Only accepted on designated tire days twice a year in spring and fallRefridgerators, microwaves, humidifiers, any items with Freon gasTelevisions, Ccmputer parts of any sort, monitors or any electronic materialsToxic or hazardous materials Hard cover booksClothing or any textilesStryofoam blocks or peanutsItems picked up curbside, i.e. newspapers, boxboard, junk mail, plastic PET or HDPE 1 & 2' containers, glass bottles, metal cans, Mixed paper/boxboard.Any questions, please call Hillary at 675-5464 or The Town Offices at 469-3201. Go to "Recycling Options" or pick up flyers available at The Shed for alternative ways to recycle these materials.
