Place loose in separate bin from other recyclables. Please do NOT tie in bundles or place in bags. Must be clean and dry. NEWSPAPERS, CATALOGS, MIXED & COLORED PAPER & BOXBOARD: All now recyclable only at curbside. Boxboard includes cereal, cracker, cookie, cake mix, pasta, shirt, shoe and tissue boxes, as well as paper towel and tissue cores and egg cartons. No pizza boxes, waxboard or freezer boxes. Place loose in separate bin from other recyclables. Please do NOT tie in bundles or place in bags. Must be clean and dry. Note: White paper may be mixed in, but has a higher value and can be recycled separately at the Recycling Shed. (See Recycling Shed for more details.) GLASS: Clear, green and brown bottles & jars. Rinsed out and caps removed. Labels need not be removed. MASON JARS are now accepted curbside with seals and metal parts removed. Other dishware or window glass not accepted. PLASTICS: PET bottles (marked #1) ) – typically soda bottles. Labels, “neck rings” and dark plastic bases need not be removed. HDPE milk, water, cider jugs & bottles (marked #2) – No “wide mouth” containers (i.e. margarine, cool whip, yogurt cups, etc.) Labels need not be removed. Detergent bottles & other colored HDPE bottles & jugs (marked #2) – Bottles with threaded necks only. Rinsed out and caps removed. Flatten when practical. ALUMINUM & TIN CANS: Rinsed out. Do not flatten.
